You apparently have less good memories; for me it’s the other way around with various kitchen makers in fancy showrooms and catchy slogans. There theory and reality were often also somewhat different, including regarding quality. So everyone has to weigh that for themselves. I like that I can hold and check every piece beforehand, the great price with good quality, and that I can change/return if something turns out differently on site. Of course, it’s not like there are no delivery problems or other difficulties elsewhere; it’s just usually different problems then. I already dread it when a kitchen salesman in the furniture store or some kitchen studio faces me and doesn’t present a clear price structure. Unfortunately, that is still the case in the majority of the furniture and kitchen market. But....as most of life, there is no right or wrong.

Whether you can take the items with you immediately is unfortunately not so easy to answer. It depends on the furniture store. Depending on the storage capacity, they only have basic things and frequently purchased items in stock or sometimes more. I don’t know anyone (!) who hasn’t had to go back to the store at least once because something was forgotten or planned incorrectly. That is the price of planning and doing it yourself. In Poland, you will surely get the Korpen and the VOXTORP and the drawers. I would be surprised if they don’t have those in stock. The drawer and the side panels are the most expensive. If you buy those in Poland, you will have saved a lot. The Korpi are really not expensive, so the difference won’t be that big.

Thank you very much for the pictures and especially for the explanations about the appliances you bought outside of Ikea. Our new build is just now starting and it will still be well over a year before we move in, but the kitchen planning has begun.

Your color choice for the kitchen corresponds to our idea. The front Ringhult cannot be used handleless if I understood the product description correctly? We originally had the Voxtorp front (matte white) in mind as the handleless option. We could also warm up to your variant and it would be cheaper as well:

[*]Veddinge front (40x80): €14.00 plus Billsboro (€13) handle, which makes a total of €27
[*]Voxtorp front (40x80): currently on offer for €47 instead of €58

This price difference applies across all sizes. I will calculate this right away in the Ikea kitchen planner. Otherwise, I can also highly recommend the IKEA kitchen planner, you quickly get the hang of it.

Do you have problems with fingerprints on the fronts and how easy to maintain are they? We want to visit IKEA during a weekday soon and see the Veddinge front live.

You are all probably still referring to the old Faktum kitchens. By now, every manufacturer has a relabeled Ikea device.

Siemens, Miele, etc. But you can tell by the price as well, the budget here was a maximum of 6000 euros?

The same goes for the grid, there are 4 and even 5.

For planning, I used the Microsoft Edge browser; Chrome froze more often.

Also, Bauhaus already has 63 cm deep countertops.

Update: It's a good €1500 less just from the changed fronts - instead of VOXTORP now Veddinge in combination with Billsboro handles (also in white).

We were just at IKEA and looked at everything. We actually like the voxtorp front the best. Even though it is more expensive. I just tried messing around with the planner, but I still can't get it really right and then it froze. I can't log in anymore or access my planning, no idea why. I will try again tonight. Can you plan "dead corners" with Ikea or do you have to buy these corner elements? Also, with some tall cabinets, only one door was shown in the view instead of two, which looked very strange. Either they were maybe not available or it was a bug in my planner again. I'll keep you posted
