We haven’t built around corners so far, but rather as freestanding modules. Corner is of course possible, but you should take a look at the corner cabinets. The function is probably good there too, but I can’t say anything about it. In that case you should have a countertop measured directly by them, because you certainly don’t want to piece it together with a rail like it was back then in the shared apartment. Or as someone wrote above, have one made directly at Bauhaus, although measuring on site makes sense in case the angle of the wall is not exactly right. The "dead wall" thing is beyond my horizon... If the kitchen just ends freely in the room, a side panel of the same front or anything else is simply attached on the side. For example, on our island we placed a 40mm multiplex board from the timber yard as a bar. Cheap and stylish as well.We were just at Ikea and looked at everything. We actually like the Voxtorp front best as well, even though it is more expensive. I just tried messing around with the planner, but I still can’t really get it right and it then crashed. I can no longer log in and access my plan, no idea why. I will try again this evening. Can you plan "dead corners" with Ikea or do you definitely have to buy those corner elements? Also, in the view some tall cabinets showed only one door instead of two, which looked very strange. Either those might not have been available or it was a bug again in my planner. I’ll keep you updated.
