I have more than enough existing holes, the question is just what all needs to go through them?! We also have a ventilation and exhaust system, so it may be that the holes are completely stuffed. I’ll just wait and see what the electrician does and then join in.

The holes are usually bigger than necessary... next to the ventilation, I have a bunch of other stuff that goes through and also partially came in later.

Yes, just wait...

Hello, wire with cat 7, for example in Kerpen, buy a drum with 500 m or whatever you need. If two connections are required, then two cables. Maximum 100m per run. With a crimping tool, you can press so-called jacks on both sides. Then you always have the socket. These are then snapped either into the flush-mounted box and patch panel. Then all required connections onto an 8-port switch or similar using patch cables and one patch cable from the provider’s router. About KNX, I can say, forget it. Why? You don’t want to constantly reprogram your light switches, and you also have to be able to do that. Lighting control can be retrofitted over time via smart home if you realize you need something somewhere. Antenna system or SAT must be run from every outlet to the SAT distributor. You need two connections for watching TV and recording simultaneously, then also two cables either in the rooms with SAT end sockets or just F connectors on them. From the dish to the distributor, four cables to the LNB. For up to four cables, a quattro LNB directly to the connections is enough. But SAT and network always in conduit. Hope I have helped quickly.

Where the modularity of the jacks is needed. Normal people connect directly to a socket.
