The "you got mail" belongs thematically to the smart home topic. But don’t you dare browse around in that forum If you’re interested... check out the KNX forum (Google! there is only one big one). "You got mail" is rather a "boring" feature... there are much cooler things...

That's correct, it came into effect at the beginning of 2016, if I remember correctly.

, of course I'm interested in KNX, but it's too expensive for me and I probably won't understand it. My electrician might lay a BUS cable from switch to switch. No idea what that's good for.

What kind of empty conduits do you have for the speaker cables? I have 2x2.5mm for my “main” speakers, which is actually more than enough.

I'm also interested in ceiling speakers, but if it works in a concrete ceiling? I think that will be difficult. That's why I wanted to switch from Atmos to Auro 3D (so far only planned mentally).

I'd love to check out your installation, but you probably don't live near me.

Not really much... but it's better than nothing...

Data cables etc. are installed exchangeably in the installation pipe aka empty conduit.

Everything is possible if it is planned in advance...

It was not planned beforehand, meaning I would now have to drill into the ceiling, does the structural engineer want to see that

I wanted to know what size he used for the empty conduits. How do I actually get them from the ground floor to the upper floor when the ceiling is in between? Just drill “hundred“ holes?

If not planned beforehand, then it's over now... only installation etc. no more into the ceiling...

For empty conduits applies: the larger the diameter the better...

From the ground floor to the upper floor yes drill holes or use existing ones.
