How expensive is the basic supply? Do you know that? Is it worth jumping into the triangle now and somehow getting active?
I would get active. Even a short time with the basic supplier can be intense. I had that case last year or so with electricity. It wasn’t cheap, so the whole switch was no longer worth it.
When we still had gas, I bought from greenpeace-energy. By doing so, I exposed myself to the possible deception of channeling the money in the right direction. The good feeling generated by this then gave me peace of mind.
A contract is a contract, this applies to both parties.
If you have not issued a cancellation (apart from the change, of course), object. See also the article in Handelsblatt.
And then? Is the supply still stopped and you have to take legal action. And then? In the end, you sue an insolvent company, waste money and still have to buy your gas elsewhere.
