Yes, right. Prefabricated garage for cost reasons. A solid brick garage is too expensive for us. Is it possible to put a different roof on a prefabricated garage? Do you know a supplier who does something like that?

Any carpenter will offer you that. Preferably including the garage. I would rather design it as a CP. Why doesn't your architect plan that for you? The rejected design is not worth a ct. The architect is responsible for the planning error.

With my suggestion, the problem can be solved.

Roof with trapezoidal sheet metal without rafters and battens (but with coating to prevent condensation) and purlin attached to the wall without supports. Whether something like this works should be known by your architect. It should be cheaper than the prefabricated garage. I have realized something like this in DIY for under 2k. Including a partitioned shed with 2.5*2.5m.
