Yes, a built-in cabinet will be installed under the stairs to partially accommodate the increased need for space due to a straight staircase or simply to have storage space in general.

Are there any further comments regarding the general orientation?

Yes, you can clearly see on the site plan that your kitchen is completely in the shade and becomes very dark. Therefore, I would swap the kitchen and the living room.
