The eaves height is 6m and the ridge height is 9m. The only requirement for the roof pitch is at least 10°. The utility room is chosen to be this large because we still need a storage room. The entrance would be located towards the west.

The design doesn't work at all... neither stairway works like that nor is the upstairs hallway good...

Furthermore, the utility room including storage room is way too large... the kitchen, on the other hand, is far too small!

Even if you need a storage room... such a huge thing is pure waste of space... but it encroaches on other areas...

Please do it again...

My girlfriend is a teacher and simply needs a large storage room to store the materials. If she had the materials for each school year in the study, it would simply explode. That’s why this solution approach.

Furthermore, I don’t understand why everyone says the kitchen is way too small. We looked at how big we would need the kitchen and this is what came out. A bigger kitchen would then be "waste of space" for us.

You can tell you're building your first house... if you build it like this, you'll regret it deeply later on... let's say 7.5 sqm of the room will be taken up by the equipment...

What exactly do you want to store on 10 sqm? How many documents does your girlfriend have? Does she teach across all subjects or what?

I have 2 female teachers in the family and in their opinion, more than a "normal" home office is not necessary...

I also find a 9 sqm kitchen borderline... you build a house and everything is as small as possible except for the storage room...
Also, a 30 sqm living-dining area is way, way, way too small for this house size....

Addendum:

hmm I don't know if you even cook at all... if the kitchen is just decoration anyway and the food comes from somewhere else, then 9sqm is more than enough...

@Mycraft Yes, that would be house number 1. We currently have a 9sqm basement where there is a large cabinet with her documents (elementary school, so yes, covering all subjects) and also some things we don't want/can't store in the apartment. In the study room, she always has the documents she frequently needs and also those for the current grade. I agree with you about the living-dining area; it could definitely be a few square meters bigger. As for the kitchen, we already have a large kitchen for us, and since quite a bit is stored in drawers, which should then go into the pantry, the 9sqm would be perfectly sufficient for us.
