It refers to the inner door from the windbreak to the hallway. The front door is 1.510 m, although the passage width should be about 1 m. Just a normal front door. Do you see a problem there?

...ok looked quite narrow on the plan, could only estimate.

Although you are only obstructing the bottleneck with it. I would not go below 1 meter width in the entrance area. Even the important room doors 1 meter wide.

That would be quite easy if I gave up the 40 cm cupboard space on the southern wall.
That could happen but currently I wanted to leave a little safety margin for a shoe cabinet or something similar.

Alternatively, the kitchen planner manages with fewer square meters. Then the whole thing could be extended a bit further south.

That’s clear ... but how is the garage driveway going to be realized? The basement would have to be like a full story in the north and basically lie into the slope in the south, yet the entrance/garage (driveway?) should be on the ground floor? It’s about the height differences, after all 4 m: What do the "pencil numbers" in the elevation plan actually mean? If the upper floor (i.e. parents/kids) is a full story and the knee wall is then only in the attic, you don’t have a 2m line on the upper floor ... or how is that to be understood? Theoretically, I would rather place the garage in the east. Is it mandatory to place it in the west or can it be changed like the roof ridge direction? --------------- Kitchen .. if washing/cooking are in separate rows, then the distance should not exceed 120 cm. Otherwise, it simply becomes impractical. The roof overhangs are quite huge ... especially in front of the kitchen .. sure, a covered seating area is supposed to be created there, but that also takes a lot of light away from the kitchen. In the floor plan, there are also other "errors" ... either doors directly at an angle to the wall (dressing room) or windows (children’s room), so that no usable space is available in each case. I also consider the windows in the children’s rooms to be too small. I would also always rather orient the children’s rooms to the south/west. After all, they are the living spaces of the children. -------- Grundstücksmaße : 25 m breit und 33 m tief?

Unfortunately, I can’t say exactly yet but you are right about that. Personally, I was thinking of something like a split level, meaning

    [*]Garage relatively far down
[*]then up two steps into the entrance area of the residential unit

[*]living room and kitchen raised a bit more, again reachable by one or two steps

That is one of our problems, as written in the opening post. We don’t know how to use the slope to our advantage.

Let’s see what our construction company and planner say about it today. We have an appointment this afternoon.

I can’t tell you right now. I’ll ask today. We received the elevation measurements as is without comments.

That would be the case, yes. But as I said, I want a shed roof towards the terrace, and we need to see how far down we can/may go – because a shed roof at 5 meters height makes no sense.

Unfortunately, it’s fixed in the development plan. We may change the ridge direction. For the garage, a justified exception permit is needed.
---------------

I told my wife that. She has an appointment with the kitchen planner on Friday.

That’s right. The light strip on the west (kitchen) and the open space (windows almost up to the shed roof) should compensate for that. But it’s not finally fixed yet – sizes might change a bit.

I will take another look at the doors, thanks for the hint. I couldn’t finalize the windows upstairs yet because I still don’t know at which height the roof will rest. Hopefully that will be clarified today.

Yep, 25 m wide and 33–35 m deep.

Many thanks for your time, kbt09!

The staircase already works, but due to the relatively small radius, it is really only good to walk on the outside. We have similar dimensions here. It is not a deal-breaker, just a remark.
