Therefore, I would rather choose a better floor plan
Yes, ok!
But why do you ask ..
Would you
or set the house a bit higher to get more light for the rooms in the back, fewer problems for an ELW,
.. here again to us ..
Therefore, I would have been interested in your opinion on my question. Better exit in the back or bright rooms?
.. if you can decide that yourself and have argued it well and convincingly for yourself with #84?
You should check off a point for yourself, define the matter, and then build further on this decision.
This concerns the location of the house, then roughly the positioning of the garage/carport, and then the floor plan within the house.
Many here do not really see the ELW as feasible either.
Maybe also consider that a lot of earth has to be moved for building a house on a slope. One can also reasonably think that the slope and the plot do not necessarily lie in a straight line against the house and do not have to. If I absolutely want a proper window somewhere instead of a strip of light or a basement window shaft, the earth can be modeled. The same applies to a seating platform (let's call it north terrace here, because one cannot judge for oneself how a covered east terrace is) – this seating platform can, if desired, be dug in at ground floor level or raised. Yes, this will not be done everywhere where it is not sensible, but where only one meter is missing, I will make sure to get that meter exactly where it is needed.
With defined slope issues, I prefer to stay out as long as there is no section, no elevation points, and no site plan with contour lines.
