Cutting the Gordian knot by separating the house and the garage. Building codes often require the garage to be set back from the street-property boundary only if the gate faces the street. Therefore, I would place the garage with the side facing the street (i.e., driveway from the side) on the boundary. I would let the house make greater use of the property’s width and make it narrower in depth, so its depth spans less terrain height. Sketch later, I still have to go shopping.

I think the proposal is great and I look forward to a sketch. Thank you very much!. My wife absolutely wants a connection between the garage and the house, otherwise I would have liked to place it slanted at the front, so that a forecourt is created and the steep driveway can be avoided.

With the slope, you have to be aware that you sometimes won't hit the garage. From experience, we wanted under 20% and now have 15%. Is the view unobstructable? Not that the next development area or an extension massively changes the view.

View as shown in the pictures. Nothing will change anymore. We are only looking for a solution to revise the design slightly to get rid of the steep driveway, and of course, improvements of any kind are very helpful.

It is already quite built-up at the moment. There is a 3-story building to the southwest. Next to it is a 2-story building with the garage in front. The view is of the buildings across the street.

For us, this is a great view and we enjoy it. However, the steep ascent and the mentioned problems naturally take priority. Therefore, I would be interested in suggestions for changes.
