That would make a ceiling + floor construction of 48cm. What is that supposed to be - a bunker? Usually it’s a bit over 30cm all in. I was already happy for you about the 2.70m ceiling height...
In the current planning documents the ceiling is specified as 20cm with a 28cm tall structure above it. The underfloor heating and ventilation plus floor covering are to be installed here.
I think you worry too much about storage space. "Somehow it always works" ensures that you can fit everything in. Ceiling-high cabinets can hold an enormous amount of stuff.
Most families manage quite well with a "normal" house with a normal amount of storage space.
As a cyclist, I often find the parking space for bikes underrated.
I can see, maybe I’m thinking in the wrong direction. It just worries me a bit if there is no basement and no attic and I have to store any kind of stuff (and that’s not overly much for us) within the living space. But we will reflect on that again carefully.
The shed doesn’t necessarily have to be used for bicycles. There are other possibilities as well.
I see storage space like and ... it’s very important to plan the rooms so that cabinets in standard dimensions can be accommodated well and rather unobtrusively. So always make sure there is preferably 70 cm behind doors to make the wall usable for a cabinet.
Thanks, we will think further in this direction. There’s usually a reason when everyone argues in the same direction. ;)
