Oh, you could have also said: "Post #1, Version 2". That is indeed a nasty support (at the angle of two beams, I suspect). Visually okay if it finishes a kitchen unit – but annoying if you want the seating area there. This might also be solved differently, but then I suspect this ceiling panel thicker and the room height correspondingly reduced by a few centimeters. Depending on how cheaply you get steel, often quite a few roads lead to Rome ;-)

The bathroom is 3.10m x 3.60m for me. But I have to say that these are sketches. I have not checked it down to the centimeter.

Thank you. The architect can then also plan down to the centimeter. I just wanted to check if my sketches fit.

Well, it has now led to the fact that they themselves no longer knew who should do what when. The "seller" thought that the documents were already with the structural engineer, and we thought that the actual planning was yet to really begin. This led to us finally being able to, or rather having to, sit down together for a joint appointment today. The floor plan is to be finalized tomorrow.

We were very well prepared through our drawings and your ideas and more or less presented the drafts of . The result was that he is now drawing that and the structural issue in the living room is to be resolved. Whether he really does it that way or incorporates his own "ideas" again, I probably won’t be able to say until tomorrow. But I am more hopeful this time, as his boss was present and considered our plans to be much more reasonable than those of his employee. Let's wait and see.

I would also be interested in the structural issue. It would be cool if you find out and report here.

Will do! However, I don't quite trust the peace yet.
