Personal price limit for the house, including equipment:
€400,000, shell and interior construction will mostly be done by ourselves
Doing it yourself also costs money, namely the not to be underestimated material costs, tools, etc.
2. I’ve already racked my brains about this topic, can’t make the room look nice without changing the arrangement of the windows which would make it look less harmonious from the outside.
Oh yes... the windows are for the people WHO live IN the house and even though I understand that it shouldn't look completely odd from the outside, windows should always be placed according to the interior rooms!
5. Next to the WB there is a bidet planned, my wife insists on one
If it’s such a strong wish of your wife’s -> why don’t you have the bidet (plus the bathtub) in the master bathroom, but in the "children’s bathroom" or shared bathroom?! That just doesn’t make sense to me.
And the master bathroom is smaller than the guest toilet?!
- Laundry chute in the master bedroom leading to the utility room with washing machine/dryer.
Laundry chute in the master bathroom is only 1/3 of your laundry. And only the way down. And what about the kids’ clothes? And the clean laundry? Then you have to go around the corner through the kitchen into the dining room, along the whole staircase and upstairs?! Upper floor utility room or utility room entrance near the stairway would be possible solutions.
Further suggestions/criticism are welcome.
Upper floor looks tidier. Idea: remove master bathroom so that bedroom/dressing room can be a bit smaller, in favor of moving the bedroom/K1 wall downwards and the K2/K1 wall to the left = K2 becomes bigger.
Plus a window in the dressing room. But I think that was already mentioned once.
Apart from the electrical distributor, nothing else goes into the utility room.
I would now put a coat rack set in the niche which I think should be fully sufficient, I also find it quite practical that the toilet is right next door because there’s always someone who needs to go to the bathroom before leaving.
And the heating? possibly controlled residential ventilation?
Do the 4 children already exist or are they just planned?
Because it feels like the picture of the coat rack would not even be enough for me and my husband alone, let alone 4 (!) additional children.
