- Kitchen: The wall (5m) with window is already planned with a 3m wide island, the storage room is a "second" kitchen line for the "dirty" work
The planned kitchen is inferior compared to my suggestion. Your wife should see that too. The second kitchen line is absolute nonsense. Who voluntarily stands in a small narrow room without daylight instead of working at the huge kitchen island in the light-flooded room?
- We had the showers included but after long back and forth we removed them, we now have 3 showers in the house which should be enough (one still in the basement by the sauna) - instead we made the cloakroom "large"
That’s OK, but all of this could be solved a bit more stylishly, especially given the large area and character of the house.
- this is unfortunately not possible because a double ceiling will be built in the children's rooms so that the children have another corner for themselves, this was a prerequisite otherwise the two would not move with us
I consider that nonsense. The children’s rooms are more than sufficient at 20sqm. I would plan a great play corner or similar in the basement and garden. That means planning a large hobby room for extraordinary toys and then a place in the garden for a bouncy castle, pool, etc.
