I admittedly briefly considered letting the children use only the servant's, pardon, back entrance. :D The Empire dresser will therefore remain in storage until the brats move out.

I don't want to step on your toes now. Your house looks chic, suits you, and many find it great because it's different. But most would build the interior differently and more practically. It’s good as it is, that you like it and it works. But you don't have to speak of it as sacred. It can always be better. Even on a smaller area.

Currently, space eaters like dressing rooms, children’s bathrooms, large open living areas are in vogue. Unfortunately, this is currently a topic in a parallel thread: miscalculated, had to refinance, and now it is still the outdoor facilities for which there is no money.

Built-in wardrobes, at least a row from the entrance to the open dining room, I also wanted, but we could not have afforded them. Yes, that's how it is with the dear money. Although I have to correct myself: we had the money, but it wasn't worth it to me.
