I don’t understand your answer and I’m curious to see how it will develop for us. We want to do the outdoor area/garden ourselves (except for the garage, which we will buy as a prefabricated garage). I have already communicated here several times that I cannot understand the expenses for the outdoor area... we’ll see. :) I will keep you updated about this in another thread. So far I assume that the fountain will be the most expensive thing.

I generally like built-in wardrobes, but I reject them for hygienic reasons. I have also never rented an apartment with a built-in kitchen. Maybe my objection is unjustified, but it just disgusts me, no matter how much I could clean.

The costs here for the outdoor areas relate 70-80% to the paving, splash protection, and paths or edging.

Think again. You can put cuttings on your windowsill. We dug and planted everything ourselves. For that, we bought bushes, shrubs, and trees several times for several hundred euros. For the hedges, the good soil in bags was as expensive as the plants - 4 plants per meter. After one year, then perennials and such were picked up weekly at discounters, nurseries, and garden centers. The 50-euro bills changed owners every time.
I was 47 and also wanted to see my hedge someday and not the path behind it. That's why the plants have to be 80-120 cm tall. Your cuttings take years to reach knee height... We certainly invested 5000 for plants in the first 2 years. After that, it was spread over the start of the season and the entire year. You never really finish, anyway, because some things grow differently than you imagine or also die.
