I don’t understand your answer and am curious to see how this will develop for us. We want to do the outdoor area/garden ourselves (except for the garage, which we will buy as a prefab garage). I have already communicated several times here that I cannot understand the expenses for the outdoor area ... we’ll see. :) I will keep you updated about it in another thread. So far, I assume the fountain will be the most expensive item.

You can even plant a bought Christmas tree in the garden. I don’t know if we will do that, but it is also cost-effective.

The problem is often that after a construction site there is no intact topsoil and an extremely compacted subsoil on which nothing grows. And you don’t dig out 30 sqm of terrace with a spade.

What should be harder to clean about a closet if its carcass consists only of the front? Which gifted wart remover is supposed to encourage the cut-down tree to root again? – it seems to me that a normal green thumb is not enough, it must probably be green metallic ;-)

But it is about your own house that you live in yourself ;) The costs here for the outdoor areas relate 70/80% to the paving, splash protection and paths or borders. Think again. You can put cuttings on your windowsill. We also dug and planted everything ourselves. For that we bought bushes, shrubs and trees several times for several hundred euros. For the hedges, the good soil in bags was as expensive as the plants - 4 plants per meter. After one year, perennials and co. were collected weekly at discounters, nurseries and garden centers. The 50-euro notes changed owners every time. I was 47 and also wanted to one day see my hedge and not the path behind it. That’s why it has to be 80-120 cm plants. Your cuttings take years to grow knee-high... We definitely invested 5,000 in plants in the first 2 years. After that it was at the beginning of the season and spread over the year. You never really finish anyway, because some things grow differently than you imagine or also die.

You can get many plants, even in that size, through classifieds. If you don’t commit to what you want to have and don’t necessarily want something special, it can be done very cheaply, sometimes even free.
