Eating on the terrace can then also have the advantage in summer, even when the weather might not be so nice or very windy, of grilling on the terrace, sliding door wide open, and then sitting inside to eat, with a direct outdoor connection.

I have also been asked (not here in the forum) why the bathtub and toilet are not actually swapped on the upper floor (because the toilets in the standard plan are not one above the other) and now I wonder if there aren’t already two (but I don’t know). The entrance area definitely feels much more spacious this way, otherwise it’s really "open plan". But for that, an extra window is definitely mandatory.

Yep, all or nothing. ;)
No matter what you end up making of it, I hope you get the west-facing windows. Without them, I would find it very dull.

Yes, without the windows it would definitely waste a lot of the potential of an end-terrace house compared to a mid-terrace. I've sent the email now (but only this evening), so we'll see.

That among other things, but also to keep the cellar access out of the chill area. Better to have a _straight_ direct access from the kitchen to the terrace. The sliding door additionally restricts the furnishing... the sofa cannot be placed well here, nobody wants to have to slalom through... … it would also have the advantage that in the active area there is access from the terrace to the cellar.
yes, and then the relatively more comfortable view of the TV... could also be had from the kitchen.

I have changed the kitchen again, tall cabinets as an eye-catcher, with a coffee bar or other highlight at the kitchen entrance.
The bathroom upstairs has been enlarged. Keep in mind, it is the only bathroom in the house.

I rather think that it serves to simplify things.
