Floor plan changes for end-terrace house from the developer

Nope. After several years in the forum, nothing surprises me anymore. The focus on the straight staircase, then you are trendy, children's rooms must subordinate themselves.

That's why I'm currently thinking about what I actually want to ask ;)

Probably my objection with staircase and upper floor: I see the rooms more sideways and the bathroom opposite the staircase with a west window. You can then nicely combine that visually with the ground floor west door and align them.

Because I would tend to always prefer to place the sofa on the left side of the plan, so that on the right side towards the kitchen and dining table there's a bit more space and the room doesn't look relatively narrowly divided into three parts.

I also think that is a good idea ... again speaks in favor of the staircase with the winding at the staircase exit ;)

I think that goes beyond what we would change. That would be a complete redesign of the upper floor, bathrooms would no longer be aligned, etc. We would be deviating completely from the standard with a full custom plan. I believe those are cans of worms we won’t open. I don’t find the upper floor all that bad either ;)

Ok, that is a statement one can work with! Then it’s about small details now, possibly a rough kitchen plan, where tall cabinets will go for possibly an additional window, if a terrace door near the garage might not be sufficient. I think with a terrace door in the dining area you can gain a lot of light.

Another such logistical querulous effort, but a charming thought. Maybe also has an opinion about this house; he can't just be a scapegoat for stupid neighbors and mayoral fools (although a dormer for the bedroom would probably exceed the special request framework here as well).

We also had a thread open in the special forum for something like that and the recommendation was very unanimous in favor of the suggestion: [ATTACH alt="1682604040065.png"]79694[/ATTACH] Then probably with a door opening into the hallway or a sliding door or something similar. (My husband is currently very much in love with the extra door, I don’t see it as so urgent. But when it comes to the kitchen, he definitely has the last word because he is the main user) My objections that the window would then be partially blocked by the tall cabinets weren’t really seen as a big deal by anyone. And my U-shaped and two-line layout suggestions found exactly zero supporters. My husband and I currently prefer, instead of three tall cabinets, just to have the fridge there and next to it another base cabinet/wall cabinet unit as a coffee corner, roughly along these lines: .[ATTACH alt="1682604739663.png"]79696[/ATTACH] Again, everyone else thought that was dumb, but in the end, we have to live with it ;) We haven’t been to the kitchen studio yet; that is scheduled for the first time next Saturday.
