Nope. After several years in the forum, nothing surprises me anymore. The focus on the straight staircase, then you are trendy, children's rooms must subordinate themselves.
That's why I'm currently thinking about what I actually want to ask ;)
Probably my objection with staircase and upper floor: I see the rooms more sideways and the bathroom opposite the staircase with a west window. You can then nicely combine that visually with the ground floor west door and align them.
Because I would tend to always prefer to place the sofa on the left side of the plan, so that on the right side towards the kitchen and dining table there's a bit more space and the room doesn't look relatively narrowly divided into three parts.
