You're right, I had planned a bit too generously. But if you make the dressing room and home theater smaller again (like you did), it fits. Everything within the building envelope. If you like your floor plan and want a lot of northeast-facing garden, that's fine.

Still reconsider the dark hallway to the home theater (I would have added a window there and moved the shelf to the other side or would have eliminated it altogether) and the enclosed dressing room/ 3 doors in the bedroom. For example, you could move the dressing room to the center of the bungalow.

These are all just very spontaneous "scribbles" meant to show you that there are many more possibilities and that you are somewhat stuck on your current floor plan. No one here wants to harm you. You're asking for suggestions and opinions and we are presenting them here. Sometimes more kindly, sometimes more directly.

Yes, but then the plot is just ruined - my opinion as well. Sorry if I’m repeating what’s already been said: a draft from the architect would probably be a relief.

Good that there are also different opinions on this.

Don’t you have any other approaches?

by the way: This is an architect’s draft.

Far too much resistance on your part to make any suggestions here.

What a pity. He obviously has no sense for the garden as the center of life.

I don't think so. The tone has been harsh from the other side from the very beginning as well.

Würfel has contributed great suggestions on his own, which we are incorporating into our further planning. I am very grateful for that.

I explain why something was planned the way it now appears on the drawing. I also don't want a free draft with which I can run to the authorities.

I simply expect a bit more than "then the property is just ruined."

Then again you hear "Everyone's different."

All of this is just a description of the problem and not the solution.

None of this helps anyone move forward.

Basically, I have already pointed out the core of the problem, as others before me have done. The focal point of a homeowner's living space is the terrace with the surrounding garden. In the latest design, this is divided into two parts. On one hand, this causes unnecessary narrowness/proximity to the neighbor, and on the other hand, a poorly accessible northeast section. This ruins the property. Solutions are the responsibility of your architect, although some people here occasionally present some as well. But that is not our task. We only point out problems or praise successful designs.
