... all because the living room would be empty anyway when watching movies :)

I've only been here for 4.95 years and only know that the reason is not discussed. I consider that a rumor (that this is the reason to not include members with at least over 150 posts in the privileged circle). Especially for not being allowed to receive them either, the explanation does not make sense. P.S.: then I will assume hobbies. Even if you don’t have a boat, you should learn from @Nordlys’ experience and not plan the insulation of a sufficient amount of storage space only afterwards.

The pure turnkey construction price excluding land? Thanks for the link.

Good point. We hadn’t agreed on that yet. We would also swap the shower with the WC, then guests can get to the toilet faster. Now we have one more reason.

Yes, very much. But if the carport is on the right side of the plan and maybe two cars should go there, then the house on the left side would have to be pushed closer to the boundary. By the way, we almost swapped the kitchen with the home cinema, but we couldn’t really figure out how that would look. We didn’t like our attempts.

We understand. We would also have breakfast on the big table at weekends. We are still not completely decided if the table will simply be removed from there. It was an idea for a quick coffee, a bite in the morning. The hallway might also be free then.

We agree. You couldn’t put together a decent kitchen island in Homebyme. That was difficult. We used a prefabricated one that we don’t like so much and now it’s there. It could really be closer.

50 cm, that would be enough for us.

That’s enough for us. We don’t sit there often. Mobile working hardly takes place. Yes, they fit, we don’t have many. At the moment they fit in a lower cabinet of our current desk under the drawers :D

Sorry, that should have been explained more closely. It is a suspended fireplace. The body at the bottom is like a UFO. That is the black spot diagonally left of the two sofas in front of the corner. Search “suspended fireplace” on Google. Of course, it’s a matter of taste. We don’t want to link any site now and later be accused of advertising :D

A few more lines on that. It is very important to us. We like to enjoy movies with surround sound, loud, and in a dark room. The cancellation of the extra room is out of the question for us. Maybe it is sized quite large, but that also results in great room acoustics. This is simply the special something or luxury we want to treat ourselves to. Fireplace and TV are not to be in the same room. We want this separation. The living rooms planned today on most builder unit sites and model houses almost completely neglect TV and hi-fi. The sofa is always against the wall. As an audiophile person who wants to celebrate home cinema, you despair completely. The window, which is not very big, is only there so that you can ventilate. When the room is used, it is also darkened. The room could possibly be planned a bit smaller or, as mentioned above, moved elsewhere, but not deleted.

Anyway, thanks for your criticism. It helps us a lot :)

Yes, traveling (hopefully again soon), good food, good movies, friends. We don't keep much and also don't buy many things to display and then put away again. We are rather minimalist in decoration.

Therefore, we are asking here. Please feel free to share experiences and what would be better there. The HTR wall and utility room are variable and can be moved.

That is stated like that in the development plan. Legally, one always has to specify a minimum size, otherwise someone would just plant a seed...

It reminds me, however, of the folding seat in the aisle on the train ;-)

Do you live without suits and winter coats?

Then tell that to your budget.

Still, flimsy garden lounger cushions are no pleasure.
