Oh, I see. At first, I thought there were no elevations. But you can see that a single contour line stands alone in the open field: 476 meters, and there is no other within the entire property (and beyond the image section). So at least flat; the qualitative soil conditions may significantly affect the foundation costs, but they remain silent regarding the cellar issue. So: according to the property, you do not need one; any required storage space could possibly be created above ground.

What really speaks against the pantry?

I mean, a freezer/refrigerator goes in there, then lots of household appliances that you don’t usually need, and of course food. This saves me a few kitchen cabinets and I don’t have everything constantly on the kitchen counter. The kitchen could also be smaller. So far, this planning hasn’t started yet, but all of this is a huge advantage. Collecting deposit bottles, supplies, kitchen appliances, fridge, beer crate, etc.

Washing machine and dryer in the utility room. And yes, the dog shakes off, I understand the point. But better in the utility room than in the hallway or living room. The drying rack maybe shouldn’t be right next to the entrance. I’ll keep that point in mind in the planning. A wardrobe in the utility room makes sense, at least for personal items. A small wardrobe for guests would then be outside.

Yes, that's what the 3 prefabricated garages are marked for. Maybe it will be just one garage and a carport and then a wooden shed behind, or something like that.

That's the plan. I think there are good and affordable solutions compared to building a basement.
Yes, the plot is roughly flat to the eye. Some soil has also already been added where it might have previously sloped a bit. It was probably the earth from the excavation of the road during the development.

I can use the entire area. So not a bought cupboard but closing off the entire stairway and then lower down pull-out drawers for shoes and higher up then a pull-out clothes rail. Maybe I'm imagining it too simply but something like in the picture

From my point of view, there’s nothing against the pantry in your case. And I would also separate it from the utility room, precisely because of the dryer. And with the extra wall between utility room and pantry, you create additional storage space.
I think a pantry is great, it’s much more convenient than storing everything in kitchen cabinets.
You also have space for a wardrobe on the left side of the hallway in the plan. Whether the pull-out compartments will work, meaning whether your kids are disciplined enough to always put their stuff away there, you have to judge.

Just as a suggestion:
I don’t have a drying rack in the utility room at all, but a rod at about 2 m height on which I can hang clothes on hangers. That way the dirt from the shaking dog wouldn’t get on it and you have the space free below.

Yes, I also plan to use the rod. Yes, the pull-out compartments are mainly to hide shoes that are left lying around. The ones you wear daily just stay out. I’m not that picky, or else they just stay in the utility room. Thanks for your input :)

After reading opinions on Dennert Massivhaus, I started to rethink, and we will definitely look more at the “side spaces.” But I find a pantry absolutely practical. A large utility room too, but those are usually rather small in standard house types, max 7-8 sqm.
