In what way? I have attached the location. Otherwise flat. Of course, a soil survey still has to be carried out.

Exactly! With the difference that I don't assume anyone is interested in how I do laundry. How a 2-person household works, we both know, Silke. But I can also remember other times when you couldn't fold laundry right away when it was done. And if our dog, a small one with short hair, thinks he comes home and shakes himself, then there may be some dirt within a radius of one meter, but if it’s supposed to be clean laundry, then it gets annoying. And that over years. Every household is different and as you can see, my emphasis is on the 12 feet/paws, so more than two persons. And whoever knows my posts knows that I try to make the thread starters aware of problems. How they then deal with it is their business. I agree with you about the dryer, the air gets quite humid there.

Even though we are now only 2 people (with regular also longer visits from grandchildren) plus a dog and a cat, I can still remember times when our 3 kids were smaller. And even then I would have been happy about such a side entrance door with a dirt trap, and had no problems with the laundry. Because you can usually still hang it outside. And train dogs. Exactly, every household is different. And therefore one should not generalize one’s own opinion.

If you want light in the room, then make the windows wide with the same area instead of tall. With a higher positioned window, you might even be able to skip the frosted film and have even more light in the room, because the film also absorbs quite a bit.

Normally, one says the window size should be at least 1/8 of the room size. In your children’s room, it is less, and the listed measurement is also the rough construction dimension. The window frame will reduce the glass area considerably. The drawn-in wardrobe also extends slightly into the window.

Then, in my opinion, the elevations are only a very rough guideline.

exactly. That’s why I also wrote:

“however…”
Because a pantry alone really isn’t necessary if every square meter counts. And then the spare wardrobe in the technical room also makes sense. Because under the stairs there is less than less space for a cupboard.

Sorry, but I don’t see a cupboard there, rather a small chest of drawers.

These are floor measurements. With a sloping roof, it is fewer square meters and probably fits. But I agree with you that the windows are rather small.
