Hello and thank you for your reply!

A shower downstairs is still under discussion. I also think it might be a bit inconvenient in ten years. At the moment, the kids shower together, but that won’t last long.
We would only need to sacrifice a bit of our wardrobe. We will definitely discuss that again.

We actually put almost everything in the dryer. We never dry on a line.
But we have two washing machines (there will also be one downstairs in the utility room). So, the clothes that should be dried in the garden could be washed there.

The kitchen is incorrectly furnished—sorry about that! There won’t be any seating at the island. As you already said, the dining table is right next to it (also incorrectly drawn. It’s supposed to be rotated 90 degrees).
Both the stove and the sink will be located on the cooking island. The island will be a bit wider than in the drawing.

Regards

Very good, the kitchen already seems very well thought out by you. Please keep in mind: for a well usable dishwasher and cooking island, it should be at least 3.2m long.

Well, then :)
But basically there would be a doubled door.

That way you would have just as much wardrobe and a walk-in shower. The window would of course have to go ;)

Regarding the laundry:
Dryer in the closet room is absolutely out of the question. We have real sauna air in our small utility room on the upper floor, but it also had to be a condenser dryer because of the controlled residential ventilation.
Since you have a gigantically long hallway, which you somehow still have to emphasize so that it doesn’t stand out unpleasantly, it can be even longer :p:
One option might be to extend the hallway to the outer wall at the bottom of the plan and put the washing machine and dryer there and disguise them with doors (like Americans always do). The bathroom would then have to give up 2 sqm, but it should not be noticeable negatively. Pay attention to soundproofing! I would avoid placing the washing machine and dryer directly IN the bathroom.

The planning of the guest bathroom should be checked regarding the sink and the door. I would always insist on a normally sized sink here, which then also has to fit.

Upstairs, I would make sure that the bathroom can be drained as planned (certainly feasible, but better to plan that now before building).

In the kitchen studios we have visited so far, sink/cooking islands were between 275cm and 335cm. Until now, we have simply planned with an average value of 300cm. But we will take another close look to see if it fits.

Thank you very much for the great idea with the shower! I really like it! That way we would still have about 2m of wardrobe. In the other wardrobe solution, we would have placed a cabinet/dresser on each side. But that space is definitely enough as well.

We hadn’t thought about the sauna air either. We also have a condenser dryer. I thought we would just open the window if the controlled residential ventilation can’t handle it. Point noted and will be discussed!

The hallway upstairs is really terribly long :-/ I have also thought about extending it completely to the outer wall at the top of the plan (there is the nicer view) and planning another window there so that light comes into the hallway. As it is now, it might be a bit dark up there. Placing the washing machine and dryer in the hallway is also an interesting idea :-) Why is washing machine and dryer in the bathroom not optimal?

Best regards
