Hello,

we have now finished planning our kitchen

Now it goes to the installation plan for our builder

1st question: how many water connections do you usually get in the kitchen? 1 for the sink and 1 for the dishwasher or do they always share one??

2nd question: what do you think of a side by side refrigerator with a fixed water connection?

We think a fixed water connection is the better and more comfortable solution for a refrigerator with ice cubes

Can the refrigerator also be connected to the water connection or does it necessarily need its own fixed water connection?

From the refrigerator, the dishwasher is about 80cm away and the sink about 150cm away so let's say for the refrigerator we would need a hose of about 150cm is that still short enough?

Is there also an aqua stop for the refrigerator hose?

When the kitchen is fully planned, shouldn't these questions already be answered by the kitchen fitter? The Side-by-Side is definitely part of the planning, isn't it?

No, we will buy the side-by-side refrigerator ourselves since it will not be a built-in appliance.

Therefore, my question is: Does the kitchen in a new building usually have 2 water connections or only 1 for the sink and dishwasher?

Can the refrigerator be connected there or does it definitely need its own connection?
distance from refrigerator to water connection 150-170 cm max

Faucet water connections are no good, I've heard ... *scratches head* It seems to me your level of fussiness doesn't quite match the developer's approach.

Of course, you can also connect the refrigerator to the existing water supply for the sink/dishwasher.

Thanks, the distance is not too long yet?

I had read that the hose should be as short as possible.

What would you prefer, a refrigerator with a direct water connection or a water tank??

Advantages of connection: no refilling and it never runs out, you have better comfort.

Advantage of water tank: no pipes can burst.

What else would you think of?
