Hello..

Of course, it is a question of practice, appearance.. or whether a combination is possible..
Only you can decide that..
One way to make a decision.. marking out the measurements.. and trying out everything there.. like cutting board, tools, storage of ingredients.. You can do the same (regarding determining the drawer size) with the pots and pans. That's how I did it.. taking measurements on the countertop with tape.. And in this way (especially because of the handles) noticed which base area is really useful for US.
Especially taking into account habits and FUTURE PLANS

Sincerely Hochglanz

After research, I will probably install a ceramic sink after all. However, SystemCeram is too expensive for me. How is Ikea in this regard?

@Coletrickle,

I recommend the Bodbyn front. We also like the country house style and had initially bought the Grytnas front. However, once assembled, we felt it did not have the desired effect. Especially the doors of the wall cabinets looked very "simple" and rather modern. In addition, the side panels, light strip, and crown molding are somewhat glossy while the front is matte.
We then exchanged the fronts for Bodbyn about 4 weeks later. Just the glass cabinet doors alone look a thousand times better. Overall, the kitchen looks more high-quality and we really like it now.

@Humbug, I think a separate thread is better.

Do you have Bodbyn gray or white...what do you actually use for baseboards, crown molding, etc. - moldings or end panels with white?

SystemCeram is really expensive as a sink, I have now nicely seen some from Villeroy and Boch that I like. With the current setup, you would also have relatively much space next to the stove.

But you could certainly arrange the blocks like this:

The two tall cabinets, then

- regular base cabinet
- base cabinet for the cooktop
- dishwasher
- sink
- remainder

This way you would have 60 cm of space to the right of the oven and also on the left...I have put a picture in the album.
