I mean – and I am currently consulting Kerstin here for a second opinion – that the staircase from 1 to 2 intrudes into the headroom of the staircase from 0 to 1. For that, I recommend you browse here with , who is currently dealing with the topic of neighbor underpinning: Heartache is not worth it, my Darling: I see sufficient potential here to cut back the house’s shoots sprawling in all directions – albeit probably not with the same architect. But something will surely be possible on the property. As a former window guy, I don’t have to guess long why this was not the "Ei, sondern Au des Kolumbus" but remained a one-day wonder – even if it keeps being revived, but so will the brainwave of the modular tiny house.

Welcome to the club, we have also been brought down to earth. Construction costs have risen enormously in recent years. But please don't bury your head in the sand; there have already been wonderful proposals here in the short time that could be implemented.

I would also like to somewhat defend the architect. Did all the cost drivers come from his ideas, or were these wishes from you? Granny flat, open space, reading corner, dormer, children's gallery, etc. etc. What makes sense is that the garage is integrated into the basement, but that costs a pretty penny. I would estimate the concrete and masonry work alone in the basement at 100,000. I am probably even estimating too low here.

To lie too deep in the basement, I'll frame that for myself

This is a demotivating thread. Many want to help here, there are numerous good suggestions/questions, and then the creator only gives monosyllabic answers to out-of-context hints.

don’t just bury your head in the sand right away and give reasonable answers, then this could really turn into something. Or is this thing done for you now?
