No picture at the moment unfortunately, I can take one after the unit is finally installed in December ;-) Wow, 30,000€ is quite a statement. That should be enough. If money is no object, I would go to the friendly Klafs partner and check out the S1 and get advice. Bring a floor plan, they will then make you an individual offer. They come in different sizes and materials. Depending on the version, you will end up somewhere between 18 and 25k price-wise. Klafs is pricey, but the solution with folding in and out is just cool.
Thanks for the info. Klafs is one of the manufacturers we have on our radar anyway.
The 30,000€ was simply the maximum budget I had planned for it. But it definitely doesn't mean that we have to exhaust the budget. It's also nice if we get a high-quality alternative for less.
The fundamental question is: If the sauna goes on a certain floor, what would the sauna be swapping places with? For me, the question was: studio or sauna, one goes in the basement and the other goes in the attic. For me, the choice was clear.
If the choice is: storage room or sauna, for me it would also be clear, I would put the storage room in the basement.
So if the sauna replaces nothing on the upper floor, then it’s perfect.
Due to the large floor area, the sauna actually fits on any floor.
We have now first communicated the upper floor to the architect as the preferred location. From there, we could also realize a relaxation room with a view of the fields and access to the balcony.
Our basement will also not be a typical basement, but except for the technical/utility room and storage room, proper living space. So with underfloor heating, parquet flooring, large windows, ventilation, etc. Among other things, a fitness area, a sewing room, and another office are to be realized there.
