Extension of deadline for KFW grant variant

Simply send an email to 461@kfw.de, provide the grant reference number, request an extension of the deadline, and state the reasons for it. The email must be sent from the address registered in the Kfw grant portal. Every justified request will be approved.

Have you already done that? I would be interested to know what counts as justified for KFW. Which arguments did you mention and how long did they extend the deadline?

As stated, every justified application will be approved. Applications submitted in 2021 for 48 + 6 months and all applications submitted in 2022 for 60 + 6 months.

Yes, that is clear / known. My question was who has already made such an application. Ideally, what was included and whether the application was rejected or approved. Can you say something about that?

Any reason that leads to the project not being completed within the original deadline will be accepted. Corona, Ukraine war, craftsmen or material shortages, etc. etc. Just write something without overthinking it.

Thanks for your advice. I just want to send the KfW what they want to hear, so I wanted to ask around. With 26k, not much can go wrong.

Hello Roadhog1999, I came across the post because we currently have the same problem. We will not be finished by next July. I would like to know if the extension worked? And for what reason? :) Looking forward to a reply. Best regards
