It will work out with us. We would "only" need to build a battery storage that is currently missing for Kfw40+ and can thus switch to the new program. Additional investment is, after initial research, around 6-8k€(?) and for that we get 20k€ more than in the old funding program. Lucky us.

Hi, I have now read through everything here and have a question:

We are currently building a KFW 55 house and the application etc. has been submitted and we have the approval from the KFW Bank for the 153 loan, we just need to sign it (but it is already available).

Now I am calculating how much more money I have to spend to reach 40plus because it could become interesting due to the new subsidies, but my bank advisor says that I cannot switch anymore or that I will get a 6-month blocking period.

However, some people here write that it is possible or are you not yet that far with the “old” application?

Best regards
Me

I would google "bdo handbuch förderportal" and look at the internal processes of the KFW inquiry, maybe that could possibly provide a different basis for discussion with the bank advisor?

Do I understand correctly that you only need a new application if you want to change the funding level or want to use the now higher loan amount?
We received a KfW55 approval (100,000€) at the end of last year. So far, the architect meeting with the general contractor has not even taken place.
However, I do not want to touch the loan again since we got it at 0.45% (instead of 0.75%, special promotion by the intermediary bank).

According to the KfW information sheet:
"The repayment grant is calculated based on the approved amount valid at the time of recognition of the 'confirmation after completion' and is credited to the last installment due according to the repayment plan (shortening of the loan term with constant annuities)."

That means you automatically receive the new grant of 15% (for us 15,000€ instead of 5,000€) with KfW55.

I don't understand it that way and it also does not correspond to the statement of the KfW. You should receive the repayment subsidy that was valid at the time of contract signing. Imagine if the subsidies were reduced. That would be somehow stupid, right?

Hi,
So for me, it is that I keep the old conditions unless I waive them, submit a new application with a different "class" e.g. from 55 to 40, then you get the new conditions.
