Hello Hello

Here is my draft again. The basic building shape, floor plan, and arrangement of windows and doors are mine.
The arrangement of the rafters and the layout of the windows, carport, the high wall on the north side, 2 additional windows, and various suggestions for the facade design come from a friendly architect.

I find the suggestions and changes interesting and worth considering for now. However, I/we are somewhat unsure.

The wall on the north side was originally intended by me to be like the one on the south side or as shown in the section, and the carport roof continuous from the main building.
Argument: too smooth and too bulky. I am still a bit undecided. What do you think?
The two windows were not originally planned but we like them very much.

The door and windows in the garage area should end at a height of 2.20 m in order to build a large shelf above.
Right decision?

I really like the division of the rafters and window formats. But I am considering replacing the wall panel in the living room with a window. Disadvantage: additional window format.

And then the facade... wood, plaster, clinker, plaster with other elements....????

Looking forward to your suggestions

Olli

Hmm .. turn pictures?

And, why not also have the windows so high in the garage area? You can easily build a shelf about 200 cm high under the wide 70 cm high window, where you can reach everything.

And, if you want additional windows in the living area, I would probably rather extend the door in the kitchen area to a window element similar to the others. In the dining area, I don't like these narrow windows with the high sill height at all. For me, those are always windows more suitable for storage rooms. ops:
There is actually one more window in the elevation than in the floor plan .. right?

What I still can't quite get used to is that the east and south sun just don't reach any living spaces at all. But that's probably due to the garage requirements.

Hello again

Following KTB09's advice, I’m continuing my topic here.

Quote KTB09:
And why don’t you simply continue the other thread? Then everyone can follow much better. And, it would also be great to rotate the JPGs before posting so that they can be read and are not upside down.

I would be interested in the positioning in the site plan. Is the garage easily accessible?

I don’t understand your questions regarding the garage area and 220 cm, or rather, they don’t become clear to me. And, which partition wall in the living room do you mean? (something like that could be marked )

Best regards
kbt09

About rotating the pictures: Correct on the PC, correct in the green forum and somehow like this here.
Why? I can’t change that. Sorry

I attached the site plan here.
Plan on the right, the slanted wall is exactly north. The plot is now 1126 m² and from the garden side of the house to the next street it’s about 35 m.
From the garage door to the property boundary it’s 3 m. The cul-de-sac is 4.25 m wide.
The garage is for vehicles that are not used daily.

In the west view, the door and window in the garage are exactly as high, 3.0 m, as in the house.
Great from the view, but I would like to install an intermediate floor in the garage at the height of 2.2 m with a depth of 1.0 m as a shelf.
So upper edge of door and window at 2.20 m ??

The partition wall means the exterior wall between the two window units in the living and dining room.
Positive: it possibly divides the living and dining area a bit
symmetrical arrangement of the windows in the view
negative: takes some light (that’s whining at a high level)
results in an additional window format

When I rotate the pictures on my PC, they suddenly appear too large here.

As 3 months ago: The floor plan is good, a pellet stove in the middle of the house would be annoying, although you said that there will already be a provision for automatic refilling.

I will now also give my opinion on this, although I already did back then: I can't say anything about the pellet stove situation, but I would still consider whether the bedroom might be better placed in the north/west and the living areas facing southwest. You could mirror the room layout (of course not 1:1 because of the slanted wall) and move the large garage in the south a bit to the west, so that there would be space for a south-facing window in the kitchen. A terrace door in the kitchen near the garage could then serve as a "short path" if needed. The bedroom window would be somewhat protected by the garden location at the back. Where have you planned the refrigerator? The kitchen is very small, yet the refrigerator is usually constantly in focus, so in use, I wouldn’t put it in the separate utility room.
