Sure, it's a matter of trust. Here the client has no other option than to check this statement against numerous references - if possible from recently completed houses. But even that gives no guarantee. The first architect we wanted to hire had about 10 references that spoke an exemplary testimonial. In the end, the architect had no time to hire us and kept leaving us hanging (fortunately at the beginning in the planning phase).

...and always remember, today decadence is measured by the width of the garage door . Unfortunately, I didn't have the space for it

Well, then it's all good We also only have a simple garage.. but built solidly.

Maybe you can get a winding driveway to the garage or a roundabout in front of the house... that would even surpass the wide garage door in the old-fashioned way. But I think 400 or 900 sqm makes no difference... both are too tiny.

When I’m old, I’ll move to the countryside... and then I’ll post my design here .....specifically for the "diameter of the roundabout discussion"

The bad thing is that some people really think this when I look at some houses around here. The main thing is to have a great appearance on the outside, but if an income disappears, the whole house of cards collapses.

If an income disappears, then probably over 70% of all new construction projects will go under the hammer.

How else should it be possible.

In some locations, the land costs around 200,000 euros and the little house including accessories another 350,000 euros. That makes a total of over 550,000 euros. Who has that? Who can finance that alone?

What do we learn from that? Always keep the beloved one in a good mood.
