So you didn't get it any cheaper than the mentioned 180 k€, right? I guess if you compare it to an architect-designed house, you could "paper" the wall with LAN sockets for 130.-€ each...

Another acquaintance also has a smaller construction company and immediately dismissed it when I told him the price of the BU... One or two more inquiries and conversations with neighbors who built with an architect confirmed the picture.

The thing with the LAN sockets was not meant entirely seriously either
We chose the provider we felt best about and who had a good reputation.
A bit of luck or bad luck is always involved, since something can go wrong with any construction, no matter the provider.
As mentioned, we also drew the floor plan ourselves, admittedly "cheaply," but we were able to incorporate what was important to us...
