I’m putting the topic aside for now and trying to come up with a sensible arrangement of kitchen and living room. I have sketched the living room as "semi-open." There is plenty of "wall" visible from the kitchen. It probably depends on the design here.

For the sketch, I used exterior masonry 36.5 cm and interior walls 12 or 17 cm.

Note: furniture are placeholders for now that we can imagine.

I don’t think it’s bad at all! You just have to consider how much wardrobe space you need, since there isn’t much room for it in the bedroom. I also miss cupboard space in the living room for DVDs, games, etc. Or do you not have any of those?

The cut-off corner in the bedroom is really not serious. And the dance hall?!

Well, I'll leave you then, because when distorted images are involved, objectivity ends.

Good morning, unfortunately I don’t quite understand what you mean.

Beveled corners can bring more light, that has to be weighed up and is not yet decided, but I wanted to include it in a drawing. I think you are very stubborn about some things yourself, have you ever seen beveled corners in practice? If yes, what do you find problematic about them?

What do you mean by [Tanzsaal]? The sketch is based on the floor plan we both worked out.

The [Wohnküche] is now relatively large and we are currently looking at how furniture can be arranged or how the kitchen can be designed. We are open to suggestions.

I will make another sketch with an open living room and see how it looks.

Best regards Michael

Where is light needed now? You are reducing your usable space in the bedroom.

And yes, I initially reject angled walls where they bring nothing. Where they are necessary, they just have to subordinate themselves.

You have the most space now where it is needed the least. Your kitchen island structures the room somewhat poorly.

I am really having trouble with the kitchen layout/design -.- ... since we will probably decide on an open kitchen/living area, the kitchen can also go back to the west. There should be light.

Advantage: I can make the kitchen narrower in width and thus gain more space for the wardrobe and WC (possibly also enlarge children's room 1 again). In addition, I can design the kitchen island better visually.
The access from the west then goes directly into the kitchen/terrace.

Windows/balcony doors not yet optimized.
