Last week I had an appointment with the architect who is now advising me, and we went through the plans I received from the construction company (NSK in Halberstadt). He will now make a list of the errors and missing information, and then the draftsman can get back to work. I wrote to NSK that these plans were made without consulting me and not according to my wishes, and there will be no approval from me as long as they are not changed to meet our desires and ideas. There is positive news from the basement company. The basement is being built by the company Glatthaar, and it is running like clockwork. One week ago the foundation slab was poured, and on Friday the basement was built. They worked from 6 in the morning until 5:30 in the evening. Additionally, the boss of the crew is extremely friendly. Unfortunately, I cannot say that about the site manager from NSK, as there are repeatedly reasons to point out that I am not his subordinate. [Hörensagen entfernt; Bauexperte] If anyone asks me, I will gladly share my experience. The ground floor is supposed to be masoned at the beginning of August. Hopefully the plans will finally be error-free and finished on time by then.

In the plans, something caught our attention that I also don't like. The room height is (above the finished floor, about whose construction no information was provided) 2.575 m. The window element with the roller shutter is specified as 2.085, the lintel as 49 cm. Our wish was to have the windows as high as possible. There is something wrong with this again, isn't there, or am I mistaken? Does anyone know about this?

Is the 2 m of the roller shutter included? Then you would only have a window passage dimension of ~1.7 m.

Then enter into the dialogue – clearly with the planner, but also with the site manager.

Then I would expect: lintel equals zero. Ask why that is not possible!
