I already suspected that: prefab houses are not more well thought out, and they only look fast (because the builder only sees the crane unloading the finished walls). This also applies to the lesser-known brick, expanded clay, and other wall panels, so it is not a wood frame specificity. Modern construction was once, today I see the ETICS of many solid buildings technically on par with the thermal insulation integral system like the classic prefab houses’ insulation between rafters.I simply like this well-thought-out, fast yet very precise construction method of the houses. I think it also has a lot to do with the modern construction method.
Order books that are declining may appear soon – but I see the trend towards second-choice plots (steep slope location, pipe elbow, pile foundation, contaminated site, pentagon at the cul-de-sac, proximity to highways, semi-detached house postage stamp) at least continuing, if not even increasing.I would rather wait another year or two. Then the crisis will have reached the construction industry as well. If you still have a secure job then, you can build cheaper.
“Model home park” and “thoroughly” is almost a contradiction in this sense, as model home parks reflect the market in a distorted way: the most recommendable providers (regional solid house builders, regional carpenters) are hardly represented there. You see there a disproportionately high number of classic wood panel prefab builders, solid stone on stone only the big names of cooperatives/franchisers, and occasionally a formwork stone builder in between. That’s why we want to thoroughly inform ourselves on Sunday in a model home park.
