I consider that a very important insight and it applies to both young and old. That does not mean you shouldn’t try to recognize it (on the contrary), but it is never complete and is always sometimes wrong. And – now here it comes – in my conviction, it also applies to oneself. There are simply many unconscious parts swirling inside oneself that one cannot can know all of. Therefore: If you, as young as you are, start building now, it is an experiment (as it was for me, at 67 years old :cool. You do get "smarter" as you get older, but nothing is certain, because you can’t factor in what you overlook – you simply don’t see it. For example, I have more on the outside than you really need – you could survive without a big garden – but I’m still not really satisfied. No one is "to blame" for that, not even myself (as I see it), but if anyone, then only I can change it myself. What I want to say is: Look (yourself) as closely and honestly as possible, get advice (like here now) but don’t let yourself be controlled from outside. Your decision is right, no matter how it turns out and no matter how it "ends". Life goes on.

Haha, let's see how you think about your youthful sins today as a sixty-seven-year-old when you are ninety-three

I wouldn't advocate that either, but it can also "help" to publicly commit to each other.

what does that have to do with "young building"? nothing

Those are yesterday's youthful sins, I am older now. ... So far, everything has gone well

Can I do that under this post or do I have to start a separate thread for it?

I don't know if there are rules for that. I would find it appropriate if you post pictures here.
