Why does this bathroom actually have 2 doors? And for possible shifts, it would be sensible to see an overall floor plan. Also from the floor below, it would at least be good to see what else is there.

What about the windows? Parapet height 150 cm, from the finished floor or from the rough floor? Still adjustable or can it be planned differently?

We currently have a larger bathroom planned for everyone, with access from the bedroom and an additional shower in the guest WC on the ground floor.

In the end, one is at a loss for words regarding the criticism: a dressing room is planned that can only hold 2.80 meters of wardrobe and furthermore a shared family bathroom with two doors, so that every resident who wants some peace on the toilet has to close two doors and thus at least the dressing room door of the children will not be opened again, making the door rather a nuisance for the parents and therefore useless. I also don’t understand why the parents cannot use the door that is accessible from the hallway.

Also, laundry was supposed to be done in the children’s bathroom, which is now removed. Consequently, the plan is now to accommodate the laundry in the family bathroom.

Honestly: I would first finish the house planning and the thread and consider whether you want to build balconies and a lot of living square meters including a basement, only to have a 12 sqm family bathroom with laundry space.

One more thing: children can be trained not to open the door. A 3-meter wardrobe also fits in the walk-in closet.
