Hello everyone,
we have adjusted the upper floor again and now have 2 options: with and without storage room. There should be enough light and space in the hallway. What do you think, would you prefer a storage room? We would use the storage room for vacuum cleaner, cleaning supplies, etc.
Without storage room and a low board:
With storage room:
Thank you very much.
Thank you for your input. Take a look at post #56 from us: originally we had planned a children's bathroom, which was the larger one because we wanted to do laundry there. We currently have a larger bathroom planned for everyone, with access from the bedroom and an additional shower in the guest WC on the ground floor.
It will be a single-family house. The thread on it is actually still running or was only "closed" with a question about the stairs to the attic.
In the end, one is at a loss for words regarding the criticism: a dressing room is planned that can only hold 2.80 meters of wardrobe and furthermore a shared family bathroom with two doors, so that every resident who wants some peace on the toilet has to close two doors and thus at least the dressing room door of the children will not be opened again, making the door rather a nuisance for the parents and therefore useless. I also don’t understand why the parents cannot use the door that is accessible from the hallway.
Also, laundry was supposed to be done in the children’s bathroom, which is now removed. Consequently, the plan is now to accommodate the laundry in the family bathroom.
Honestly: I would first finish the house planning and the thread and consider whether you want to build balconies and a lot of living square meters including a basement, only to have a 12 sqm family bathroom with laundry space.
