kaho, don’t drive people crazy. We’ve already discussed this, I think. Please insulate the cold roof. If a staircase, then tongue and groove boards and studio binder roof. If a staircase, then check with BU roof pitch because of headroom. Additional cost will be under 20 K.

Well, if all that has already been discussed, then that’s good. However, experience shows that it usually leads to surprises when a staircase is planned but not the upper floor. Suddenly there’s a beam or some pipe right in front of the staircase exit and the door can’t open, and so on.

Surcharge is under 20 K.

Was the floor included as well?

And what if you just section off a small room for the technology upstairs? If the heating is in there and it's insulated anyway – you probably don't even need a room heater.

The general contractor is now planning a staircase to an unheated roof space for you? With an unheated roof space, the floor is insulated, right? How is it supposed to serve as storage space there?
