And how much do you have to fill under your bungalow? I can't read the numbers.

The floor plan is glossy magazine style. It can be done more practical and better. Only after @ypg's intervention will this probably not be desired.

This forum was recommended to me in the other one, so I am here now. It seemed sensible to post here again and multiple eyes and ideas can certainly not hurt.

And yes, there was already good input that needs to be implemented. But I don’t have any newer plans to share yet. As soon as all involved are back from vacation, we have the appointment with the architect and then see what he has come up with. If necessary, I can then refine it again using the points gathered here. Of course, I will share it as soon as I have something.

Quite a bit has to be filled in so that we don’t end up in a hole. In principle, the house only rests on one corner on the current site. I have attached the views, where the natural terrain is marked and the numbers are easier to read.

I have also already drawn in furniture or digitally furnished (in Home Design 3D). Unfortunately, I don’t have my iPad with me, otherwise I could share some screenshots. I managed cooking/dining/living quite reasonably, but more space wouldn’t actually hurt.

If the kitchen moves further back, the way to the terrace will become quite long.

We are currently doing a complete renovation of something similar. Maybe as inspiration... Best regards

I took the liberty of quickly sketching the current status from memory and roughly inserting a few pieces of furniture. Of course, the whole thing is not to scale, but it might give a better insight into what I have in mind. The architect will surely still have changes. As I said, as soon as I have proper plans, I will submit them.

The 3 doors + windows make the space in the dressing room difficult to use, but I imagine it might work something like this (carpentry work will be a must here).

Thanks! The dressing room behind the bedroom is of course another option, I will take a closer look at that. Basically, the idea was to plan the bathroom and dressing room so that one can get ready without disturbing the other. I often have to get up very early and could let my wife sleep this way.

Your budget is generous but not abundant; in this project, it is even quite tight. Large house, extra height rooms; I don’t think you can manage with 2,000 euros per square meter. Earthworks Access Garage I’m just writing what I think - I don’t like these big boxes. It’s a bit like a community hall - I have my doubts whether the atrium brings that much light It looks good in the brochure - Children’s rooms too small in relation to the rest - Children’s rooms very far away You’ll be walking yourself tired - Kitchen belongs to the terrace, not the living room - The area could use more space - Very much corridor area - Building services next to the children’s rooms is suboptimal - Building services don’t fit with the glossy magazine style Have you ever thought about a partial basement? - Office downstairs (if there are children, the workspace is quieter there) - Bathroom downstairs - Later, the first child can use it as an apartment - Building services downstairs - Proper storage room Upstairs, office, children’s bathroom, building services, and the stairs are then eliminated Make the dressing room smaller and better furnished. You can easily take out 1 m in width Children’s rooms closer to the parents’ part Can later become an office I would move away from the square
