Sorry if I ask again so stupidly

So I should simply have a normal LAN flush-mounted socket (1 port) installed on the ceiling where the access point is supposed to go and then route it centrally like all the other LAN cables to the technical room. At the flush-mounted socket on the ceiling, I then plug in a short LAN cable (approx. 15cm) between the flush-mounted socket and the access point, and that’s it?

I have a second question: can I also connect normal LAN ports to a POE switch?

No, just a flush-mounted box where the installation cable runs into. It’s just about the space to store the cables because the access point is mounted directly on the ceiling. You make the connection via the keystone module.

Yes. Do you actually have someone who will set everything up for you? With questions like that, I see various question marks approaching.

No. Flush-mounted box (black flush-mounted box) from which the LAN cable including Keystone module sticks out. The access point is mounted above it.

Must is always such a strong word. I would clearly say highly recommended!

The people who installed ISDN in empty conduits 25 years ago are now happy to be able to use the conduits for one or another network cable.

DIN 18015-2 does not mention the installation of network cables in empty conduits without reason. It always depends on whether the standard is also stated in the contract.

As already mentioned in another post: Nothing is more future-proof than a sufficiently dimensioned empty conduit!

Well, "second" doesn’t mean "penultimate" question ;-)
