: haha...of course, I didn’t think of something like that :-P But how often will that happen to you again?

Since there are so many advocates of tile minimalism here, I’m posting the complete opposite. I’m really into stone! And in my opinion, with the lighting, tiles come into their own better.

It's me again

We have now chosen tiles for the floor in 75x75. The color is butter...so I would say a kind of beige-gray...pretty light...
We want to do the areas on the walls that will be tiled and the bathtub the same way.
Do you think that 75x75 tiles on the walls would look silly and that we should rather take 30x60 for the walls?
And do you think it will look good if we do everything the same? In the shower and at the toilet we will partly use a decorative tile and our bathroom vanity cabinet is black with a brown countertop.
We thought we would do the back wall in the shower and the wall with the niche with the decorative tile...so basically the parts of the T and the large wall we would do like the floor. What do you think about that? My husband would have liked the big wall with the decorative tile and the back one...but I think that would be too heavy.

Really beautiful!
How did you handle the fixtures and the pipes? It looks like you didn’t have a drywall installation.

For me, a toilet definitely belongs in the bathroom, I don’t see why I should do without it. I would never walk half-naked down the hall to the toilet, and what if it’s occupied then? Go back to the bathroom and get dressed? Or the bathroom is occupied again in the meantime and you’re standing in front of it now . Where, for example, should you put a few fluff/hairs, makeup remover pads, or the contents of a cleaning bucket? After showering, you can also use the toilet whenever you want and take your time dressing/getting ready.

Best regards
Sabine
