Not necessarily, what if, for example, the distribution boxes are concreted together with the duct network in the ceiling?

Then switching is of course difficult... It was just a spontaneous idea from me, without really knowing anything about the possible installations. However, I would definitely have the impossibility of the configuration change confirmed by the installing company; who knows if the construction contractor knows the actual execution.

Exactly, if it is concreted or under screed, then switching it around will probably be difficult. That would probably only work in the scenario with suspended ceilings, right?

With supply air in the storage room and exhaust air in the bedroom, I wouldn't have any concerns either. It would be bad to have supply air in the bathroom and exhaust air in the bedroom, then smells, moist air from showering, etc. would be pulled through the house. It's not perfect but in this constellation not the drama, I think.

Ok, I then mistakenly assumed our installation as the standard case. All pipes in our system converge in the technical room and are connected there to two distributors.

There are many design variants. For example, I don't have any distribution boxes at all. So even if I wanted to replug something, it wouldn't be possible. But as already mentioned, it's not a drama as long as it is ensured that air can flow in from another room.

Now of course it depends on what the questioner wants to store in the storage room. Harsh cleaning agents, the onion supply, the cat litter, dirty laundry....? Depending on the choice, the user of the bedroom will enjoy the smells....
