The price from the gardener is justified - can something be omitted?

Level the garden and sow lawn grass instead of using [Rollrasen] can be done by yourself. You can also build such a wooden terrace yourself. Otherwise, the saving potential is manageable.

Do labor costs not fall under craft services and can up to 6000 euros in labor costs be claimed in the tax return? Perhaps you can help and thus reduce the costs or remove packages

have it done, you need a large vibrating plate and you have to know what you're doing. I implemented a gravel path with gravel grids. Stylish and much simpler and easier than paving. Excavate, recycling, compact, edge stones, fill with sand, grids, gravel, done. I wouldn’t have dared to pave. That for sure. Do it yourself Do it yourself. You can set concrete rings yourself with a few people or use a skid loader. Put one level on the ground, get in, dig away underneath. When the top edge is flush with the ground, put the next one on. Do it yourself. You can get topsoil free of charge in the new development area, the skid loader costs €120 per day. Excavation is not necessarily required for roll lawn, it also depends on your topsoil. You can also till, grow green manure, mulch, till, level, sow lawn. MAXIMUM €10k if you buy stuff like mowers, vibrating plate etc.

Well, maybe it will be a bit more.

Thanks for the tips, you can probably do a lot yourself.
I would have the paving done by someone else.
Unfortunately, something like earth removal and delivery is also very expensive here (not a new development area).
Removal ~60€/m³, delivery 30€/m³.
Depending on how much you remove, it can already be up to 100 m³ removal and delivery.

Is relatively expensive. I would get comparative offers, we were able to save about 50% and were very lucky.

Doing it yourself in the garden area is not advisable in my opinion. The hourly wages of the workers are low at 30 euros gross, many expensive machines are needed, and you have to have good ideas.

Sowing lawn and planting or a small foundation can of course be done yourself. We had 30m L of stones and stairs with slope protection. Likewise, paving and terrace are better in professional hands.

Get more offers. We had two small local craftsman businesses. Without the terrace, we paid about €25,000 gross for 120m² paving, 450m² lawn, infiltration. In addition, various other services such as 30m L-stones, replacement of 40m hedge. According to the invoice, earthworks were 110m³ disposal, 45m³ new soil.

I also had a significantly higher offer from a larger company. In this offer, the 40m² bankirai terrace with €5,000 gross was the only affordable item. I did the terrace myself, nothing else.
