No. They are not gardeners. More like earthworkers with mini excavators and cement mixers. For planting, you could use gardeners if you are willing to open your wallet for service providers. If you want it cheap, you can again use the landscape gardener who offers it as an additional service.

Apparently it applies: the dirtier the work, the lower the wage must be. As the state regulates it, the client can easily take advantage. The survival of the client counts, not that of the craftsman.

Thank God we are in Germany and everything is precisely regulated.

for those who think it's too long: "Landscape gardeners build and maintain outdoor facilities such as gardens and parks, sports and playgrounds as well as recreational facilities. They work creatively with plants, stones, wood and water."

What does one do in this profession?

Gardeners specializing in gardening and landscaping design, for example, gardens and parks by professionally planting lawns, trees, bushes, perennials and flowers. They create all kinds of outdoor facilities, from home gardens, terraces and parks to playgrounds and sports fields to traffic islands, and undertake greening along roads and in pedestrian zones.

They also pave the paths and squares of the respective facilities, build stairs, dry stone walls, fences and noise barriers. Furthermore, they green roofs or facades. They contribute to environmental and nature conservation by recultivating landfills or gravel pits.

Gardener is the general term, horticulture and landscaping a specialization. Like mammal and dog.

How do you come to 2 weeks of work ? Maybe if there are four of them, but never with two in real life. I would split the whole thing up. Let him do the terrain modeling and the infiltration, the rest can be done by oneself with some time and a lot of spit.

I would do it in stages and mostly in EL anyway. For me, the driveway, entrance, and terrace are important. The rest can wait. Especially now before winter, you can plan nicely and calmly. At the end of the frost period, you then install the irrigation. After that, bed edging, possibly ponds, foundation for the garden shed. Completely calmly and without haste. Then the cable for the robotic mower and you lay the lawn.

At least with reasonably flat terrain. Otherwise, the mini excavator will be rented and the L stones delivered in winter will be set. Or produced yourself.

This is not rocket science, as long as it stays with such simple projects.
