The floor plan should be it; what do you say?

I would swap the carport with the garage... And the laundry chute has to be moved elsewhere, more central and not in front of a door. Where you have it, hardly any laundry accumulates.

We also had this idea but it should be an enclosed space in front of the side entrance. Unfortunately, we don’t know where else the drop-off could be so that the laundry arrives properly in the utility room.

And it’s supposed to arrive there, otherwise you have to carry the laundry through the house again. But if anyone has an idea, feel free to share it.

Who says that?

Are you sure you want to exclude the fireplace from the living area (couch)?

Well then, the laundry chute: fireplace on the exterior wall between dining and living room, for that the laundry chute where the chimney flue is now, of course to be operated from the hallway (for the girls ), move the door to the closet slightly to the right according to the plan.

Personally, I would set the house further back, since large windows facing south and west let more heat into the house. Windows also have nothing to do with the terrace, just so you know.
Entrance in the southeast and living areas in the west area can be easily realized on the property with a shaded terrace in the northwest.

We also had this fireplace position in mind. However, since it is a water-guided fireplace, a wall is needed to let pipes etc. exit there so that they are not visible; if it is placed on the exterior wall, unfortunately, the possibility of a room partition is lost.

Moving the house further back from the street is difficult; on the one hand, green space would be lost, and on the other hand, more paving would be required, which does not allow for the maximum buildable area.

It should, it must, it can only be done. ... I don't understand your arguments in the whole thread (not just with me). You want advice, but insist on the original. You don't allow anything else: then it will just be a utility room without a window, a laundry chute that nobody uses, and a door that cannot be used.
