How long are the prices for the Senec Cloud fixed? The feed-in tariff is not insanely high anymore, but it is safe for 20 years.
I have not received any information about this so far.
Again on the subject of self-consumption. That means VAT must always be paid on self-consumption (about 4.5 cents/kWh, if we assume 24 cents/kWh). So without the cloud, self-consumption in the example above would be 4030 kWh (€181 tax) and with the cloud 6530 kWh (€293)?
I am also faced with the decision between Cloud or feed-in tariff.
A few key data points:
Photovoltaic system: 9.8 kWp
Storage: 10 kWh
Orientation: South, roof 7°
Estimated yield per year: 8,880 kWh
Please no discussion about storage, etc. ;-)
So if I calculate with the values and an assumed self-sufficiency rate of 62%, then the Senec Cloud is significantly cheaper. Do I have a thinking/calculation error somewhere (see attachment).
Regards and thanks

Hello,
these calculations with heat pumps are always somewhat different than what solar installers can calculate with their tools. I will address this later because I have modified a calculation tool with stored hourly consumption, battery status, and photovoltaic yield to also represent the high winter consumption of the heat pump.
Do you have a separate heat pump meter? That would significantly change the calculation (heat pump tariff about 20 ct/kWh, meter usually around 5 €/month, heat pump Cloud package at SENEC for 5 €/month + 7.5 ct/kWh for kWh "stored" in the Cloud).
Hello, These calculations with heat pumps are always somewhat different than what solar technicians can calculate in their tools. I will go into that later because I have modified a calculation tool with stored hourly consumption, battery charge status, and photovoltaic yield to also reflect the high winter consumption of the heat pump. Do you have a separate heat pump meter? That would strongly change the calculation (heat pump tariff approx. 20 ct/kWh, meter usually about 5 €/month, SENEC heat pump cloud package for 5 €/month + 7.5 ct/kWh for kWh "stored" in the cloud).
Okay, that would be interesting. No, a separate heat pump meter is currently not planned. I have adjusted my previous calculation and also included VAT and income tax for self-consumption: The advantage would still lie with the cloud?!

Are there extra costs included for the cloud connection? For me, it was about €700 for SENEC, and it would have been similar with E.ON. That makes €35 per year. VAT and income tax are the same. Does that fit? I am still not very informed regarding the cloud. The heat pump tariff for me is 20 ct/kWh + €60 per year for a 2nd meter. That would be around -€300 per year at 3500 kWh compared. House electricity tariff with the possibility of free tariff switching in the future.
