I would leave it. I have also calculated it. With storage, a system is (unfortunately) madness. We also know our pump for 5 years. Connecting the photovoltaic, which would be sensible, I would never do! Much too sensitive!

As I said, then the air heat pump doesn't make sense either since I have significantly higher electricity costs because of the pump. It doesn't pay off and I could switch back to the gas boiler, which I actually don't want!

That is not terrible at all. There is a SUBSIDY through the feed-in tariff. This is a SUBVENTION, because private households with photovoltaic systems are not competitive in the electricity market and an incentive is intended to encourage the installation of photovoltaics. 10 kWp is more than enough for most houses to achieve an economic self-consumption rate. You can discuss the limits; in Switzerland, it is 30 kW inverter power up to which everything is simple and subsidized. So what. You do not have to trick to pocket more subsidy money. I do not like this way of thinking.

Have you already planned a roof covering? What fits on the roof? Slope? Do you already have a plan for that?

I don’t want to start a fundamental discussion here. I just find it a shame that photovoltaic systems are limited by the 10kWp threshold. This limit makes no sense to me, especially when the aim is to move away from fossil fuels. I don’t need feed-in tariffs if I also didn’t have to pay the Renewable Energy Act surcharge for the electricity I produce and consume myself.

It is definitely a shame and absolutely incomprehensible. But it is law and desired by politics. As so often, those who actually want to do something good are punished and taxed.
