At that time (now 3 years ago), I was also offered the Senec Cloud, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t make the numbers work nicely with Senec.. The monthly service fee makes it completely absurd. And a "calculated self-sufficiency" is absolutely worthless. And now I’m happy about roughly €75 feed-in remuneration per month

My recommendation: Photovoltaic system: definitely Storage: as Martial.white wrote: Only if it’s more or less free through a subsidy. Unless you love the ideological idea behind it.

Ok, thank you very much for the tips already.

For me, it somehow sounds more logical to have a storage system than to buy electricity from a supplier, but since my house only exists on paper so far and will probably be ready to move in only in August next year, I have no concrete offers from any company that provides photovoltaic solutions and therefore only have estimated prices.
The only values I currently have are:

Electricity consumption per year (3-person family) approx. 3000 kWh
Electricity consumption heat pump approx. 3500 kWh
6500 kWh results in about €1750 per year in electricity costs with the cheapest electricity supplier here (after research on various comparison portals), which is quite a lot, or am I wrong?
Until now, I thought with that number I would be cheaper over 20-30 years with photovoltaic + storage?!

If you feed electricity into the grid via photovoltaic, do you also get a cheaper rate from the supplier where you buy electricity? Or do I have to pay the mentioned €1750 over the year and then get my feed-in compensated with 10 cents each? (Sorry for so many questions but I simply can't get any conclusive answers anywhere)

Since I do not know your system size, the following statement may not be entirely accurate, but I think you won't fully charge your storage in the time you use the heat pump for heating, as your heat pump and your comfort electricity consume the generated power.

Ok but that makes sense again then

Your electricity supply can be from a provider of your choice. The fed-in electricity will be remunerated to you by the local energy supplier. No cloud, roof as full as possible, storage only with appropriate funding. That works, also financially.

Do I then still have to specify/pay my annual consumption to the supplier of choice or choose a cheaper tariff?
