That was your opening post!

Your wishes boiled down would be:

higher space requirement.

So the living area is large.

Also 80 sqm this could become a critical issue.

Cat is probably not a problem, but a dog requires a special entrance situation compared to a simple apartment floor plan.

Ok, so repeated space in the living area.

Barrier-free or low-barrier living must also be considered, thus more space needed.

Ok, also understandable, the nice-to-have, but for a house on a slight slope again somewhat more complex in construction.

Whoa, also more space needed due to access on the short side.

I also read that the workspace would be a bit nicer if separated.
These are all things that increase the space requirement from 70 to 85.
I still see this as manageable within the budget calculation, but I just wanted to note where the small wishes lead. It is no longer a rectangular floor area, but rather an L-shaped floor area. A book wall takes relatively less space, for example, since walls usually exist.

Is the U-shaped kitchen really desired or can it be different?

What concerns me:

That’s not healthy! No idea what you do for work, but a healthy distance and breaks from the workplace should not be underestimated – otherwise the 80 years won’t be reached.

thank you very much for your detailed feedback – I will try to address it.

I had actually made sure that the bathroom is always right next to the bedroom and that there is another room between the utility room and the bedroom.

yes, that is also what I don't like so much about the floor plan.

Very unfortunate, I would have loved to have seen them. Simply for inspiration.

None of my drawings claim perfection, they are collections of ideas that will hopefully eventually lead to my desired floor plan. Also, or especially because it is supposed to be a small house, it is not easy to place everything optimally. I will have to make compromises, I am aware of that. Also the option to design it in an L-shape or with a covered terrace or place the entrance hall in the east by the carport are currently just ideas. But if those cannot be realized within the budget, then that is simply how it is and no problem for me to do without them.

My approach is to get the optimum for me out of the budget; some things may be possible and others not. That has to be found out.
Regarding the size of the living area: for me, 35 sqm is already a large living area. In the floor plans it is about 40 sqm, which I find quite decent.
I always see the dining area somehow directly next to the kitchen, as space-saving as possible.
If the house ends up being 80 or 85 sqm within my budget, that is also great. The most important thing is that it stays within the framework I can afford. And it is always said that every square meter less would reduce the costs.

It can also be different. I found the U-shape quite practical because you can fit all the appliances well there and place the dining table directly next to it, I find that somehow cozy. But I am open to other suggestions.

There is always a little place for the yoga mat, I am not worried about additional space requirements.

It’s really kind of you to be concerned about my work-life balance, but everything is fine there. I do a bit of sports or yoga at noon, eat a little something and then spend at least 3 hours every afternoon/evening outdoors. And: my desk is height-adjustable.

Again: thank you very much for dealing with this, every input is helpful to me!

Oops, two met just before 4 PM. I wanted to quickly post my idea from the day before yesterday, I still had a draft open. I am not at peace with either of them, I overwrote one so that it remains without windows and a rotated sofa, But I am just going to insert them now, so that you know what I mean by the poorly chosen wording "durch das ganze Haus".

Hey wow, thank you. That’s a great idea to place the bedroom and bathroom doors opposite each other. I wouldn’t have thought of that because I always thought avoiding a hallway would be better since it’s often just “dead” space. But I like it. I would only want to flip the couch vertically so that I could have a view outside next to the TV. Do you have the width and length for that? The plot is only max. 18 m wide, minus 3 m for the carport, 2.5 m distance to the boundary, and 1 m buffer, leaving 11.5 m for the house. If you can roughly calculate it like that.

2sqm, which however have a good added value. It would work with the one, but not with the other. You just have to plan further, but I don't know if I'll get to that. That's why I posted it. And of course the length of the house works. As for the slope - that's the question of how much there is, or you don't know all the values of the property. I really don't even want to ask what the circles on the street mean.

Slightly modified. But I’ll say right away: I personally don’t like it. The covered terrace is not sufficient and too narrow, also too close to the two-story building on the left side of the plan. I also don’t like the entrance situation nor the sofa, which stands between two doors. But tastes are different. I would personally probably rotate the house so that it forms an L shape with the wings facing north and east, making the terrace placed more airy.
